Provides professional care within the Interventional Radiology Department.  Coordinates care with other disciplines.  Services pediatric through geriatric patients.  Maintains the quality of work performed as well as coordinates patient flow.


  1. *Assist with procedures which are performed by the Radiologists, RRA, and other physicians within the scope of practice of a Interventional Radiology Procedures   Technologist.
  2. *Transports patients to/from department as needs arise.
  3. *Sets up procedure trays prior to procedure start. Participates/coordinates in patient care/flow.
  4. *Maintains accountability to technologist competency/quality control standard.
  5. *Actively continues education to keep abreast of new technology and new building equipment changes. Attends monthly in-service and training sessions
  6. *Maintains accountability to adhering to staff schedule/call schedule.
  7. *Maintains accountability of appropriate use of timekeeping system with limited errors.
  8. *Participates in maintaining/ordering supply stock as directed.
  9. *Demonstrates proper safety as appropriate to the area; this includes proper radiation safety for all who enter the room. Reports all malfunctioning equipment and/or errors. Documents all safety related issues and outcomes in written form.
  10. *Participates in the annual review of the current procedure manual and/or protocols for all procedures performed within the section.
  11. *Maintains working knowledge of all organization and department policies.
  12. *Complies 100% with the HIPPA confidentiality laws, which ensure patient information is protected from all parties who have "no need to know". Maintains confidentiality with company and staff information.


  1. Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required.
  2. ARRT Certification in Radiology required. Current Montana Radiologic Technology License.
  3. Two (2) years of Invasive Cardiology/Radiology/Interventional Procedures experience or will train per KRMC standards.
  4. Current HCP CPR required.
  5. ACLS preferred
  6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, required.
