This position promotes a positive and professional practice image by providing administrative support and project facilitation. Assists in the day to day operations while multi-tasking and providing outstanding customer service.
*Provides administrative support for the cardiopulmonary and research services leadership.
*Assists leadership with departmental metrics and projects related to operations and strategic initiatives. These include, but may not be limited to; fiscal reporting, expense oversight, and revenue generation.
*Acts as timekeeper as assigned.
*Assists Director with development of service line programs, guidelines and policies.
*Maintains schedules, attends meetings and takes and transcribes minutes.
*Acts as department travel coordinator by planning and preparing travel itineraries, recruitment schedules/itineraries, and assists with provider and staff travel. Supports Service Line Outreach Coordination and ensures travel arrangements and reimbursement documentation.
*Assists with check requests, provider reimbursement, processes invoices and assists with other financial tasks as directed.
*Assists with tracking provider CME credits and reporting.
*Oversees credentialing for RMHL providers and coordinates with Medical Staff Services at KRH.
*Assists Director of Service Line and RMHL Practice Manager with administrative support.
*Coordinates and supports department events and educational programs.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in a hospital or medical office setting preferred.
Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to learn other software as needed. Previous experience compiling data, creating Excel spreadsheets, charts & graphs and creating Power Point presentations preferred.
Demonstrated ability to use good judgment in setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and multi-tasking.
Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written required. Must communicate effectively and maintain cooperative relationships with providers, staff members and patients. Possess ability to work effectively in a team environment
Possess knowledge and understanding of confidentiality laws that govern the provider-patient relationship, including but not limited to HIPAA guidelines.
