  • Overview

    Provides individual, family and group therapy sessions. Plans and implements treatment planning, assessments, and ongoing therapy. Must comply with documentation and all state and federal regulations.

    Responsibilities

    1. *Assesses patients and identifies dynamics, diagnostic elements and provides therapy as indicated.
    2. *Demonstrates an understanding of and provides group, individual and family therapy. Successfully relates therapies to treatment plan and presents information to parents, family members and patients.    
    3. *Performs and completes initial assessments. Reviews and completes all medical records documentation.
    4. *Exhibits an understanding of the importance of treatment planning. Incorporates treatment plan into charting and treatment/case coordination. Suggests approaches/interventions regarding patients to team and coworkers.
    5. *Performs accurate and timely documentation. Submits fee slips in a timely manner and meets productivity standards.
    6. *Demonstrates a commitment to professionalism while undertaking all tasks and in all interactions with patients, clients, physicians, facility staff and the community at large
    7. *Consistently provides effective communication in all areas of psychiatry and to medical providers.    
    8. *Communicates effectively with referral sources regarding patient progress and aftercare planning.
    9. *Consistently provides and maintains effective communication in all areas of clinic.

    Qualifications

    1. Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Social Work and current Montana LCSW, licensure required.
    2. Must possess professional communication skills, and work effectively with a diverse customer and coworker population.
    3. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in mental health treatment programs.
    4. Must have thorough knowledge of evidenced based practice.
    5. Must have a working knowledge as to the following professional services: Psychiatry, Psychology, Social Work and education.
